More than a festival
Early September, The Island Festival returns to Obonjan — a private island off the Croatian coast. Five days of music, rest and the open Adriatic. You dance through the day across the East Harbour, the forest, the pool and the amphitheatre, take to the water for boat parties, and slow down with morning yoga and meditation. Street food, a full breakfast buffet and vegan, vegetarian and meat kitchens keep you going; the clear sea and the pool do the rest. It's an exclusive gathering for people who take electronic music seriously and don't take themselves too seriously.

Everyone meets at Šibenik on the Adriatic coast, then sails across. Choose how you get to the mainland.
A coastal city where the river Krka meets the Adriatic — your first stop on the way to the island.
Nearest airports are Split, Zadar and Zagreb. Request a flight offer during booking, then on to the island by boat.
Ferries from Šibenik from 10:00, every two hours, roughly €30 return. Exact transfer times arrive with your travel pack, up to a month before.

A unique blend of festival and holiday — an exclusive five-day experience for electronic-music lovers. After the summer season we take over the whole of Obonjan Island for its beaches, bays and forest, with handpicked stages and a carefully selected line-up.
Bookings run only through theislandfestival.de, and your festival ticket is always included with your accommodation.
No. The Island Festival is sold only as a package — accommodation and festival access together.
No. Day tickets aren't sold; only guests wearing a festival wristband can access the island.
Several bars, two restaurants and food stations across the island — everything from burgers and pizza to lighter, healthier plates at the Green Bar.
A high-quality breakfast buffet is on-site. Add the breakfast package for €60 per person (four breakfasts) during booking, or simply drop in and pay €20 per day on-site with your band.
You may bring a small amount of personal food and drink in your hand luggage — enough for a snack or basic daily needs. Please dispose of all waste properly: the island must stay waste-free. Personal food and drink can't be consumed in the restaurant or bar areas, and a small shop on the island stocks snacks, beverages and other essentials.
No. For safety reasons, open flames and grilling or cooking are strictly prohibited.
Gluten-free options are available to a degree, though not every dish can be adapted. For specific needs, please consult Obonjan Resort directly.
Choose between comfortable tents or luxurious lodges, each with basic amenities. Cooking isn't possible in any accommodation; lodges include a few glasses (you're welcome to bring extra cups) but no cutlery or cooking facilities. Meals are served at the island's dining locations.
Yes — bed linen and towels are included in every accommodation.
Yes. All sunbeds by the beach bar and pool are free to use.
Yes — free Wi-Fi with coverage across the island.
Yes. Every accommodation has 220V power outlets.
At check-in you receive a cashless band with a zero balance. Top it up at reception or the bars with EC card, credit card or cash; on the island, payment is by band only. There's an ATM on-site, and the bands are waterproof and managed by the resort. Please note that remaining balances can't be refunded.
The resort's policies apply, and full details are sent two weeks before your trip.
If you're travelling as a larger group, note your preference for neighbouring lodges in the booking comments. Early bookings are prioritised for these requests.

A 20% deposit secures your booking; the balance is due one month before the event. See your invoice or our terms and conditions for exact dates.
Sports, yoga and meditation are included and free for all guests — daily sessions, no registration, just turn up. Classes are held in English and mats are provided. Wellness extras such as massages can be booked on-site for an additional fee.
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
Šibenik, on the Adriatic coast, is the main gateway to Obonjan Island.
Parking in Šibenik costs roughly €10–20 per day, depending on location.
A comfortable direct coach runs from Munich to Šibenik, departing Munich ZOB at 8:00 PM the night before check-in. Round-trip bus tickets can be selected during booking.
Request flight options when booking your accommodation; you'll then receive a separate flight offer by email to confirm. The nearest airports are Split, Zadar and Zagreb, all with onward boat connections to Obonjan.
The island is reached by boat from Šibenik. Ferries run only on the festival's check-in and check-out days, with detailed schedules sent no later than 14 days before your trip; the round-trip fare is around €30. Private taxi boats are available on request and booked only via the number we provide (+385 99 852 96 46) or on-site — prices vary by passengers, time, provider and route. All boat fares are paid in cash on-site.
Yes — taxi boats to the mainland can be booked at reception. Public ferry services are paused during the festival to keep the event exclusive.
